Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) is an infectious disease that affects the central nervous system and is transmitted by the bite of infected ticks. The disease typically progresses in two stages: a mild flu-like illness followed by a potentially serious infection of the central nervous system, including the brain and spinal cord. The vaccination is suitable for individuals aged 1 year and older and should be administered in 3 doses. The cost of the vaccine is £75 per dose. For more information, please contact our pharmacist.
