Cholera - vaccination

Cholera is an infection that can cause severe diarrhoea. It's not found in the UK, but there's a very small risk of contracting it while travelling in some parts of the world. This vaccination is for pre-exposure immunisation against cholera. Adults and children over 6 years: 2 doses (given 1–6 weeks apart; the course should be completed 1 week before travelling) — protects for up to 2 years. £78 for 2 doses Children 2 to 5 years: 3 doses (given 1–6 weeks apart; the course should be completed 1 week before travelling) — protects for up to 6 months. £156 for 3 doses
